About the design: Petillant naturel or "Pet nat" means 'naturally sparkling' in French. It is made using the ancestral method (methode ancestral), which basically means that a wine is bottled before fermentation has been complete, thus fermentation will continue inside the bottle. CO2 then becomes trapped inside the bottle making the wine bubble. Its a centuries-old way of making bubbly that has become very popular among modern natural winemakers. Pet nats vary in style but are typically light, fruit forward & have a low ABV.
